my mom was going off about how my aunt had this omg wavering of faith and she kept praying and praying but it was like god didnt listen and he never did listen in the end and she was never happy but it was for her own good because OBVIOUSLY GOD WANTED HER TO LEARN SOMETHING or SEE SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY or whatever and he has his OWN PLANS~*~*~ and WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS

why can't god just be an asshole sometimes and ignore you? i mean cmon you're all powerful and all knowing and all everything else and all these little whiny people are like WHINEWHINEWHINE GIVE ME SHIT why can't he just be like lol go away maybe next week and not always have to be all /KIND /BENEVOLENT /DOING EVERYTHING FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, why does god always get the benefit of the doubt? why's everyone think he's an omg always amazingly nice guy (ignore hurricanes and tidal waves and stuff like that, IM SURE HE HAS A PLAN HE MEANT FOR IT TO HAPPEN ITS FOR THE EVENTUAL GOOD OF THE FUTURE ignore that earthquake too GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL DONT WORRY ITS GOOD)

why can't he just NOT BE NICE, I mean seriously look at all the ancient religions, none of the gods were freakin NICE they were just HAPPY with you and therefore nice or MAD AT YOU and then bad shit went down -- so why suddenly the omg kind father in heaven who wishes the best for all his children and forgives everything stuff? I mean I get why people believe it (CAUSE ITS A LOT NICER TO BELIEVE than gods that you can PISS OFF who HATE YOU SOMETIMES) but seriously. SERIOUSLY.

next time im an asshole to someone and they ask me WHY I JUST DID THAT i'll just tell them i work in mysterious ways and they just don't know my plan (ps it's for your own good)
